Surdas - Ek Darshan

This unique programme based exclusively on the compositions/poems of Saint Surdas, was originally conceptualized by Pt. Kumar Gandharva more than two decades back. Like many other thematic presentations of Kumar ji, Surdas Darshan too has been a rarely heard delight. It has been revived by eminent singer Shri. Pushkar Lele once again and is being presented for the discerning audiences of Hindustani Classical Music of Pune.

Surdas-Ek Darshan consists of 10 compositions/poems of Surdas set to classical raga-s and tala-s. All the compositions have been carefully selected and sequenced, bringing out the varied and vibrant stages of Lord Krishna’s life.
