Dr. Vikas Kashalkar, a musicologist and one of the foremost vocalists of the Gwalior Gharana did a workshop and lecture demonstration on Indian Classical Music in Bhavnagar in Gujarat State in India recently, where he covered a wide range of topics. The entire workshop was conducted in Hindi. We bring to you a recording of the workshop in four parts, and invite your comments and questions about the topics covered in the workshop. Dr. Kashalkar will answer the questions shortly, but other music lovers and learned listeners are welcome to post their answers and comment.
