Ranjani is one of the leading young Hindustani classical vocalists in the country. She is a disciple of Pt. Kashinath Shankar Bodas (Kanpur), Smt. Veena Sahasrabuddhe (Pune) and Pt. Ulhas Kasalkar. Recipient of many awards and fellowships including the Surmani award, ITC Sangeet Research Academy resident scholarship and Young Artistes Central govt scholarship from the Govt. of India, Ranjani is empanelled as a performing artiste for ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) and is a graded artiste of All India Radio. Ranjani has two commercial audio CDs to her credit.
